Clifton (Liquidator) v Kerry J Investment Pty Ltd trading as Clenergy FCAFC 5. We acted for Kerry J Investments Pty Ltd in its successful cross-appeal in the Federal Court of Australia in relation to the failure by liquidators to comply with discovery orders and a contentious technical legal issue regarding payment arrangements with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO).
We recently acted for the former directors of one of Australia's leading music retailers in their fight against a $15 million breach of directors' duties claim laid by a liquidator.
We acted for a distributor of inverters used in home solar kits in its fight against a $23 million dollar claim by one of Australia's leading energy providers.
